Ladybug, ladybug

Ladybug, ladybug gone is our boy,
silent his laughter, no one plays with his toys.
In our minds we are sure he is well
but here on earth our lives have been hell.
With the passing days we miss him more,
many times looking for him to walk in the door.
The reality hits us, our eyes fill with tears,
Help us, oh help us to lay down our fears.
Ladybug, Ladybug walking along
Ladybug, ladybug bring us a song
Our little boy is gone from our sight,
so God sent you to tell us he's all right.
We miss him so much as the days go by,
not understanding why he had to die.
Ladybug ladybug sent from above
a bright red messenger to tell of God's love.
Ladybug, ladybug you remind us of this
he's in a land of sunshine and eternal bliss,
a place of happiness, ringing with songs
filled with peace where he truly belongs.
There isn't allowed pain, sorrow or tears,
instead reunions with those we love so dear.
Ladybug, Ladybug walking along
Ladybug, ladybug, please bring us a song.
Ladybug ladybug you tell what is true,
but in our hearts the color is blue.
Our boy is gone, we are left with a hole,
misery and depression now filling our soul.
He didn't suffer, we know it we say,
but grief is with us each passing day.
Ladybug, Ladybug walking along
Ladybug, ladybug, please bring us a song.
We miss you John Paul
